Catch SWF Errors from external program

Hey all,
I wanted to know if it was possible to have the flash player send any error reports out to another program. I have swf file that takes xml as input, and I need to write a script that will push hundreds of xml files through the swf to make sure they/it are working correctly. I'd like to be able to catch any errors that the swf might spit out, but I'm unaware of any way to do this. Thanks.
